the Fs

some friends are like clothes

for the longest time

they define you

without meaning to

you start to dress alike

like falling

unconsciously in rhythm

in a cycle, your periods

then 

they get stuffed into 

the back of your closet

out of sight,

out of my mind

on the off chance

that they do 

get your attention

you realize that 

they no longer fit

what the hell

where you thinking

wearing that?

and that's when you 

comprehend

you no longer need

that

article of friend

spring cleaning

your garage sale 

cast-off BFF

maybe another person's

favourite outfit
